Aries Full Moon. The Warrior Star.

The stars of Uttarabhadrapada bring us blessed and forgiving energies, signs of an accomplished yogi who through self sacrifice in form of seclusion or renunciation attained a spiritual level of virtuosity within its pure heart.

Sun in Libra 9º08′, Moon in Aries 9º08
NeoVedic approach: UTTARABADHRAPADA NAKSATRA

We are going through the times of planetary intensity with Mars retrograde until  November 13th (started on Sept 9th from 28º of Aries to 15º of Aries), Saturn moving forward from September 29th, and upcoming Mercury retrograde from October 13 to November 3, 2020 (from 11º Scorpio to 25º Libra). This month we also have two Full Moons in a single month: October 1st Harvest Moon and October 31st Blue Moon, also known as Hunter’s Moon.

Full moons symbolize a peak of energies, and occur when the Sun (the ego) opposes the Moon (the soul). Through the external pressures, antagonistic energies bring up inner conflicts to the surface, and tensions are mostly felt on the personal level.

This Full Moon in Aries occurs on October 1st at 5:05 PM in New York (check your time zone accordingly). The Sun at 9º08′ of Libra, Moon at 9º08 of Aries conjunct Chiron at 7 degrees of Aries with a trine to Hygeia, The Medicine Woman at 5 degrees of Leo which offers some solace.

With Mars square Saturn exact on September 29th, the energies of this Full Moon become amplified. It is quite an explosive mix we are dealing with as Mars is conjuncting Eris, the Goddess of Discord, and squaring the Capricorn planets: Saturn at 25º, Pluto at 22º, and Jupiter at 17º. The tensions are brought forward by these multiple squares, and Saturnian energies are particularly strong as it is slowly moving direct. Such planetary wars can bring a combative streak, and massive pangs of anger, if our feelings are repressed then we may experience depression, and complete helplessness. It depends how you usually handle Mars / Saturn energy, important is to remember that Saturn is more powerful in this combination as it is supported by Pluto and Jupiter, so my general advice would be to channel your energy onto things that need to be done regardless of how much you fear them.

NEOVEDIC APPROACH

UTTARABADHRAPADA NAKSATRA

This FULL Moon is taking place in the 26th Nakshatra UTTARABADRAPADA known as the WARRIOR STAR, possessing the power of bringing the cosmic rain, represented by the snake eating its tail, and placed within the constellation of Pisces. Moon is located at 15 degrees of Pisces constellation, and the Sun at 15 degrees of Virgo in Hasta Nakshatra, representing our power to manifest.

Uttarabhadrapada Moon Mansion, is associated with Saturn and falls entirely int he sign of Pisces, ruled by Jupiter so this Nakshatra has the qualities of Saturn / Jupiter conjunction: the patience and tenacity to accumulate true wisdom. It bestows the qualities of yogi or guru, hence the warrior isn’t fighting for its own causes but for restoring universal balance and peace. It’s the archetype of a Cosmic Warrior, possessing access to the collective subconscious, and therefore the power to shift the patterns of our collective behaviors. The Cosmic Warrior who is brave enough to conquer all realms.

The stars of Uttarabhadrapada bring us blessed and forgiving energies, signs of an accomplished yogi who through self sacrifice in form of seclusion or renunciation attained a spiritual level of virtuosity within its pure heart. This Nakshatra also gives us great intelligence, a wealth of knowledge and a feeling of responsibility to share it with the world.

Aim to achieve DIVINE PEACE by means of empathy and full understanding of other beings…
